Everyday Companion Chocolate Cake

DRY MIX 

  • 125g Banana 
  • 125 chopped apple, skinless 
  • 130g almond sweetened or Barista style milk 
  • 100g castor or monk fruit sweetener 
  • 30g cocoa powder 
  • 150g Morning Companion mix 
  • 2 x eggs 
  • 2 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • additional 110g extra almond milk 
  • 110g self raising flour, sifted

TOPPING 

  • Choc pallets (try callabeut) or coca nibs 

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 180oC/ 160oC fan-forced. Line a bread loaf tin with baking paper 
  • in a mixing bowl or thermomix, add apples/ bananas and blend, add 130ml almond milk. 
  • add eggs, combine companion mix, flour, ,baking soda, and cocoa powder in a large bowl. and mix until combined.
  • Add additional 110ml Milk and 110g flour and mix until combined.
  • using a wooden spoon spoon mixture into baking tin. 
  • bake for 55 minutes or until firm to touch and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  • stand in pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool & enjoy
